We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for considering sponsoring The Pittsburgh LAN Coalition. Since its inception, Pittco has had the vision of hosting the largest and best LAN party in the Western Pennsylvania area. Each party we host runs smoother than the last and our team is developing the skills it needs to meet our goal.
We’re now at a point when we are trying to make the jump from being a good LAN to being one of the best around. In order to do this, we need more participation by gamers. We do our best to throw the most entertaining party possible by not only having tournaments for the most popular games / modifications, but also by keeping the gamers involved with game related contests throughout the event such as Karaoke, relay races, and other team activities. In order to make the jump in attendance, however, we need to be able to offer more in the way of prizes to our attendees. Computer games are not much different than any other competitive activity. Prizes are what draw the crowd.
We ask that you consider donating whatever prize material you possibly can in order to help us draw a crowd and grow. We know that it is sometimes hard to justify donating without guaranteed return. We can offer as much free advertising for you via banners and handouts at the events, advertisement banners / permanent links on our website, logo placement on our flyers, and Sponsored By: lines wherever possible. Also, we can make available, on request, any anonymous surveys that we give to our registrants, with permission from the registrant, such as computer specs, game interest, and any other computer related, non-personal data.
